Facets of a Diamond – Blog
Dr. Diamond’s poetry contains some of his most profound and personal statements. Teeming with insight, wisdom, and compassion, and infused with a deep spirituality, each of the poems on these recordings is a gem, written with the specific intention of raising the Life Energy of the listener. They focus on themes central to Dr. Diamond’s work: health, healing, philosophy, the Arts, love and much more. Beautifully read by Dr. Diamond himself, these uplifting recordings are highly recommended for either regular listening or for incorporating into meditative activity.
Dr. Diamond discusses the importance of looking deeper, into the Soul – the Buddha-nature – of whatever you are photographing, even the supposedly “inanimate.”

Music as the Maternal Instinct. A mother doesn't lullaby to get love – but to give.
Musicians, in contrast, are yearning to get – from the audience as the mother. Their music a cry for love. Listen to Beethoven – he is desperately seeking, not giving. They all are.
What if we listeners knew, that the reason to listen to music is for us to be inspired to make it?
Dr. Diamond has composed a large number of special therapeutic songs which he calls lilts. Like his original artwork and photography, his lilts are created with the specific intention of raising the Life Energy of the performer and his audience.
A sufferer presents me with his life problems. And it's my role – as best I can – to go through that superficial presentation to his deep, deep Self – to his Soul. And, hopefully, to then guide him There – for only there will he at last find Peace and Belovedness.
As I listen to the music of Beethoven, Brahms and so many others, and I similarly sense their life problems, their alienation from their Souls: Beethoven from his, Tschaikovsky from his. And also their interpreter’s: Fürtwangler's from Beethoven's and his own. (The interpreter has this double task.)
It's one thing to believe that, say, your mother, in spirit, comes to you through a medium, and that “she” is helping you in your life. But it's quite another to believe that there are many, perhaps innumerable, spirits guiding you.
The thymus changes atmospheric chi, via the breath, into the electromagnetic chi that flows through our acupuncture system. Dr. Diamond suggests an awareness of it can help the Life Energy of the photographer.
