"There is a tide in the affairs of men." Shakespeare, Julius Caesar IV.iii.218 And every breath is a tide. The chi as full yang entering from the atmosphere through the highest chakra above our heads.
Dr. Diamond offers a paradigm taken from Chinese philosophy that helps summarize his approach: The Tao - God, Other Power, or The Force; yin and yang - always changing, but always in balance; and wen, the "pattern" of the first two as they interact and manifest in our lives.
