“Ablaze with Every Breath”

I love the SP root. It gave rise to so many words, most of them with a common, central meaning. Consider a few: spurt, sprinkle, spark, sperm, sputum, spit. All with the idea of something vital being projected from a live source to a destination which it may vitalize: the spark igniting the kindling.

“The Soul, the Spirit, and the Great Spirit”

A general note on what I think I mean: Soul: the Deepest, Holiest part of an individual’s self, which, being of the self, dies with the rest. It is our Jen, our Humanity, our Matrophilia. Spirit: The spirit dwells within us throughout our lives, being incarnated at our conception. And on our death it returns to the Spirit World, to be reincarnated again and again as it has been countless times in the past – and as it will be in the future.

“The Only Knowledge Worth Knowing”

The only knowledge really worth knowing dwells not in the mind but in the heart. This I capitalize, as It deserves – Knowledge. And this, the Knowledge, is of Belovedness.

“Breath and Breast Are One”

There must be an unconscious association between our words (and therefore our concepts) breath and breast, as their etymologies are so close that they must have been derived from a single primitive source.

“The Japanese Mother and the Law of Harmonious Flow”

Richard Storry writes of the “devoted attention given, throughout its waking hours, to the Japanese child by the mother,” noting that “the conscious and unconscious Japanese memory of childhood in Arcadia depends surely on the constant proximity, concern, and availability of the mother.”

“The Very Essence of Loving”

What matters more: “I love you” or “I Know you love me”? I believe the second – and my love is in grateful return for hers.

“The Healer as a Buddha”

Our word physician is from the Greek phusis: physics and physical things. So a physician is concerned with the physical body, the physique.

“Do We All Die as Hedgehogs?”

It is said that when drowning your whole life flashes before your eyes. If so, then at that very instant we suddenly Know why we have lived.

“Chi – Heaven’s Breath”

Chi is everywhere – Heaven’s Breath. Around us everywhere as etheric chi. When inspired into the body it is transmuted into bodily chi by the thymus, the controller of the acupuncture system. From there it flows through the meridians in a definite sequence, bestowing this energy, this “love,” on every organ and tissue. Then finally exiting to rejoin the etheric chi.
