Words are merely signifiers of reality, not, as we so often treat them, reality itself. Their application, whether as a simple name given to an object or a whole story created about it, forces us to see the object in a particular way, and so limits our perception.
Music should be mellifluous, meli from the ancient word for honey, and fluous, flowing. So Music should flow like honey: smoothly, sweetly.
No sufferer ever leaves the healer without his Life Energy being enhanced. With him now passionately, enthusiastically, whole-heartedly and gratefully Embracing all of his life. Anything less than that is, at best, only therapy, and perhaps no more than treatment.
Dr. Diamond’s poetry contains some of his most profound and personal statements. Teeming with insight, wisdom, and compassion, and infused with a deep spirituality, each of the poems on these recordings is a gem, written with the specific intention of raising the Life Energy of the listener.
My dear friend and psychiatric mentor, John Kerridge, used to quote this to me.
I was in the waiting room of a famous “Complementary Medicine” practitioner, observing the patients entering his office and leaving it. Their Life Energy – their Love of Life, their desire to Embrace Life, was unchanged.
Jubilation is a special way of singing, using only vowels, that greatly raises the Life Energy. It can be done by anybody regardless of musical skill and is original to Dr. Diamond’s work.

Our word stillness is from the root STA, to stand, to stay. Hence, for instance, steadfast. We think of stillness as being without movement.
To cure the disease may be done by treating.
