I paint without a subject, but to photograph, a subject is needed. Then I must transcend the visible and reveal the Underlying, as in my painting.

If I were thought to be a Zen master, my paintings would be eagerly sought. But I'm only me – not even master of myself.
Aspiration, communion with God, arises as Creativity from the Muse, the God within.
Creativity – capitalized – is always altruistic.
