Lilts

Lilts

Dr. Diamond composed a large number of special therapeutic songs which he called lilts. Like his original artwork and photography, his lilts were created with the specific intention of raising the Life Energy of the performer and his audience. They are mostly easy to sing and their texts draw from a wide array of traditions – Western and Oriental, ancient and modern, and they include some with texts by Dr. Diamond himself. They range from children’s songs that can be used in family or educational contexts, to songs for personal meditation, to those that can be used in public performance.

Here are some examples. They are simple to sing and learn, regardless of whether you consider yourself a “real” singer.  For suggestions on how to sing and learn them, see here.
