“Photography: The Image of an Instance”
Anyone can see a sunset as beautiful. As a photographer hoping to heal to picture it is not my role. That beauty is obvious to all.
I believe I am supposed to help everyone, especially those in suffering, through my photography. (And at a deep level we all are in suffering.) Not to encourage them to see – but to See Beauty, Blessedness, Belovedness. As I do when photographing and every time I open my eyes after meditating.
The Beauty of a twist of wire hanging just-so on the wall, a crack in the pavement, a patch of rust, of peeling paint.
Every, every image just as Meant.
Every, every one an Image – an Instance.
