I am given to believe that for each of us our life’s work, our individual Karma, is to find our Souls and then live accordingly. And, further, the Way may be to go not inside ourselves, but first outside – to our mothers.

If not for our birthing trauma, we would all Know – and live – our Buddha-Natures. To not Know It is our Fall, and our Karmic Task is to Rise above it.

The quickening: the mother’s first awareness of the baby within. And by capitalizing – Quickening – I am referring to the mother’s first awareness of the baby as spirit within her.

We have been dealt bigger brains – and, hence, birthing trauma. The Karmic Game is for us to use those brains, impaired as they are, to overcome their impairment.

What is Beethoven to medicine? And the Buddha, and Shankara, and Raphael, and Blake, and Monteux, and Euripides.

Imagine, if you can, a world without birthing trauma: no misprocessing, everyone aware of their Buddha-Nature and so living in love. A world of homo supra-sapiens.

That must be Heaven!

The surgeon asks me how he can incorporate photography into his practice. I tell him: Make photography your Karma Yoga, your action meditation to become one with your Soul, and so with every Soul.  In so doing you will become a healer.

There is but one Guidance for all beings; that is, for all spirits within all beings – now and throughout time.
