The electrician informed me that the problem I am having with my appliance is due to the electricity supply being what is called “dirty.” This he explained meant that it was not at its constant proper frequency but was fluctuating irregularly.

It occurred to me that this could be used as an analogy for healing.

I place my hands on the sufferer and feel that his Life Energy is “dirty” – unregulated, undirected. It is there – but it needs to be adjusted, balanced, ordered, for him to be able to utilize it.

With my left hand I take in his “dirty” energy, process it within me, and then with my right hand return it, normalized, to him.

Now he can use it. Now he can heal himself with it.

I like this analogy because it links us as one, his Spirit flowing through both of us.

Sometimes I think of his Life Energy as electricity, at some other times as music. I process its discords and dissonances, and return it to him melodic and harmonious.

And I’m always careful to think of it as his Music, now sounding as his Muse intended.
